Christmas Eve Services —This year on December 24, we will have a service at each of our three locations, as follows:
4:00 p.m.--Chidren's Service (for families with young children) at GC-White Lake.
7:00 p.m.--Family Christmas Eve Service at GC-Waterford
11:00 p.m.--Family Christmas Eve Service at GC-Commerce.
Christmas Tea —The ladies of Grace Church--Waterford will host their annual Christmas Tea on Monday, December 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. All women of the church are invited to bring their family and friends to this elegant evening. The cost is $12 per person. Please sign-up in the lobby.

Looking Ahead--Late fall and early winter are important seasons for our church family. We are planning a number of fun and meaningful opportunities which you can add to your calendars:
November 9-November 30: Giving Tree donations are collected.
November 9-December 7: Tickets on Sale for Women's Christmas Luncheon
November 16: Small group extended prayer times during weekly gatherings.
Wish List —If you would like to help furnish our new church home please take a flyer from the information table desscribing items we would like to gather. (And if you wonder why the 100 folding chairs are still in the list, it is becuase the chairs you may have noticed in the fellowship hall are just a loan from the Waterford campus. Thank you, Waterford!)

Impact Today—Even though Impact isn't meeting this morning, we'd love to have you join us tonight for another edition of CL2...
CL2 Special Edition —Whether you've been a part all along this Fall or are just joining us for the first time, we'd love to have you join us tonight at the Waterford Campus from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. for a special edition of CL2 including free pizza, volleyball, games, and our regular meeting. Hope to see you all there!
MidWeek—On Wednesday night, November 19th, we’ll be getting together in the Impact room at the White Lake Campus for very special mid-week edition of Impact from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. So take a break and join us - you’ll be glad you came!
A Chance to Give—Each year, Impact students have given generously to a variety of other-centered projects. This year, we are pooling our resources together to help with children who are being manipulated and mistreated in Africa. We’d love to have you be a part, too... There’s a box on the Impact info table if you want to give!
New Years Eve-Eve All-Nighter!—That’s right, it’s back, mark the date on your calendar and start banking some sleep now... we’ll be ringing in 2009 a night before the rest of the world on December 30. More details soon!
CROSSROADS
(grades 6-8)
CrossRoads This Morning—If you're in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade, we want you to be a part of CrossRoads! Join us this morning upstairs in the CrossRoads room (which is being refurbished, btw) at 11:15 am. You'll be glad you came!
CrossRoads XM—It's the best way to spend your Thursday night... plan to be here this Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the White Lake Campus. It's going to be an incredible time of fun, games, food and a time together that will actually mean something... You won't want to miss it!!!
Young Adult Ministry
(age 18-24)
Sunday Night—What are you doing tonight? What you should do is come to Roots at 7:00 pm at Grace White Lake! It’s a great opportunity to meet some other young adults and think about what it means to be a Jesus Follower.
Small Group—Roots is splitting up the guys and girls for this Friday, November 21st. Guys will meet at Jordan's place and girls will meet at Aimee's, both starting at 7:00 p.m. It will be a great time of hanging out with just the guys (or gals!). Call or email Dustin for directions because we want you there.
Laser Tag--On Saturday, November 29th, come shoot some lasers at your friends at Zapzone in Waterford. It will be a great chance to reconnect with friends away at school and have some fun! It begins at 7:00 p.m. and only costs $10 bucks!

Daryl Galazen friend of the Cronenwett family has recently been diagnosed with cancer caused by asbestos. Pray for wisdom for his doctors as they begin treatment.
Tim Harrington, who attends Ore Creek, our sister-church in Hartland (cancer relapse).
Mark Pank, nephew of Tim & Paula Bishop, who has been serving in Iraq this past 6 months. Pray for his safety while he serves overseas. He would also love to receive correspondence. His address is:

To Dave and Jodi DeJonge, and son Aaron, on the birth of their new infant daughter/sister, Allison Leni Kay DeJonge, born Sunday, November 9. Everyone is home and doing fine.
WORLD MINISTRIES PRAYER REQUESTS:
Albania/Kosovo—Gregor Menga is back in the Kosovo with his family. Pray for Gregor and Kela as they work to establish a church in Gjilan. Pray also for Gregor’s mother, who is struggling with inoperable liver cancer and for Esmeralda, his adopted-sister, who is now attending the University of Prishtina.
Bosnia—Congratulations to Donovan & Jocelyn who are now officially the new proud parents to Nathan. Their adoption was fully approved with no further waiting period. Pray now for them as they apply for a passport for Nathan and make their plans to return to Bosnia.

Small Groups are CENTRAL to our life as a church. We aim for 100% involvement of our adults in a small group designed for fellowship, learning, worship, and ministry. During the summer, most of our groups “adapt” their schedules so feel free to call the leaders listed about their group’s summer plans!
Sunday Group

WOMEN’S GROUP
Thursday Mom’s Group—Mothers of all ages meet Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 at the church to talk about how to grow to be godly examples in all our roles in life. Child-care provided. For information, call Johnna Nunneley at 248/ 684-9144.
