Children's Ministry

Children's Ministries at Grace provides a program for children newborn through 5th grade. The main focus of the ministry, based on 2 Timothy 3.15, is, "To teach the Holy Scriptures from childhood so each child will have wisdom to receive the salvation that comes from trusting in Christ Jesus." Our program is meant to assist parents in the spiritual training and development of their children. Our ministry is divided into three areas:

Nursery
Our nursery provides a safe and loving environment for children newborn to two year olds. The nursery is available for all of the Sunday morning services of the church.

Toddler
Children two and three years old experience a safe and engaging environment at Grace. They are taught Bible stories reinforced with crafts, songs, activities and snacks. The toddler ministry is available for all of the Sunday morning services of the church.

Kingdom Kidz
Kingdom Kidz starts with 4 year olds and goes through the 3rd grade. The 9:30 a.m. services (9:45 a.m. at White Lake) provide a traditional, age-grouped, classroom setting where the Bible is taught creatively and reinforced with classroom activities. The 11:15 a.m. service at White Lake has a contemporary approach with music, drama and small group discussion time.

Starting Line
Children in grades 4 and 5 meet at 11:15 a.m. in the Starting Line room located downstairs in the Children's Ministry wing.  Additionally they meet once monthly for an "After Event".  After Event times are determined on an event by event basis.  As well, during the 9:45 a.m. gathering there are service opportunities for our 4th & 5th graders to participate with or they are free to attend the service with their parents.

Buddy Break

Dear Parents Of Special Needs Children,

At Grace Church-White Lake we know how much you cherish your special needs child.  In our eyes, they are very important people which is why we refer to them as VIP kids.  To us, a VIP is any child with a physical, cognitive, or medical disability, or a life threatening illness.

We also understand that caring for a special needs child can be stressful and overwhelming for the entire family.  That’s why we want to help you.  Grace Church-White Lake is now offering Buddy Break, a free respite program for families with special needs children.  Buddy Break provides a safe place where special needs kids can participate in fun activities for a 3-hour period, once a month.  Each VIP child receives one-on-one personal attention from their Buddy who is informed about your child’s unique needs prior to each Buddy Break.  Better yet, each VIP child’s pre-teen siblings are also invited to participate in Buddy Break.  So while your VIP child is enjoying a period of fun-filled activities with their Buddy, you’ll be given a Break from your responsibilities to enjoy some time for yourself.
