History
In 1984, a handful of people with a dream started Grace Countryside Church in White Lake (now called Grace Church). In nearly 25 years we have not only seen God build a large family of Christian people in the "lakes" area, but we have also sent teams of adults and high school students to minister in far-away places, led a yearly "Creative Arts Camp" for over 400 hundred children, started a church in Hartland, ministered in Albania and Kosovo, and sent full-time missionaries to Bosnia.
In 2005 we decided to become "one church in two locations" by starting a new congregation in Commerce Township. Then, in 2007, we were asked by the leaders of a struggling church to merge them into Grace to become a third campus of our church. We are now 'one church in three locations' with congregations in Commerce, Waterford, and White Lake. Though we meet in three locations on Sunday mornings, we are still one church with one elder team, one staff team, one unified budget, one central administration, and one vision and mission as a church.
Each location has a campus pastor who, with the elders who serve at that location, bears primary responsibility for the ministry of that congregation. The campus pastors work together as a team to coordinate their ministries for the mutual benefit and outreach of the three congreations.
