What will the schedule be?
CAC begins on June 17 and runs through June 21. The evenings will begin at 5:45p and will end at 8:30p, Monday through Thursday. Please try to come early on Monday to help registration go more smoothly. Registration will open daily at 5:30p and children can join in the fun pre-camp activities at 5:45p. On Friday, camp begins at 6:00p for the Friday Family Finale.
What is the "Friday Family Finale"?
You won't want to miss our "Friday Family Finale" when adults and children will be invited to attend our closing program, which includes a drama, Craft Bazaar, Silent Auction, food, fun, and other activities from 6:00p to 8:30p on Friday, June 21. Please bring the entire family for fun and fellowship to close out our amazing week at camp! Note your RSVP in the registration packet so we can plan accordingly!
What is the Craft Bazaar & Silent Auction?
The Craft Bazaar provides an opportunity for anyone who attends the "Friday Family Finale" to purchase, by donation, the duplicate projects made by the campers during camp and to bid on some very nice items and services donated to our Silent Auction. All proceeds from the Craft Bazaar and the Silent Auction will be used for a CAC experience for children in the upper peninsula at the Upper Peninsula Bible Camp, as well as supporting the upcoming mission trip to Albania and continued mission work with our neighbors in Cedarbrook Estates.
Can I invite a friend to register?
Yes! Grace families are welcomed and encouraged to invite their friends and neighbors to camp. If you have a family in mind that you'd like to invite, please ask for extra forms for their children at the CAC registration table or at the Information Booth.
Will a snack be provided?
Yes, but each child should eat dinner before coming. If your child has any food allergies, please describe them on the registration form and send an alternative snack if necessary. The registration packet includes information about which snacks will be served.
What security measures are taken?
We take the protection and safety of your child very seriously. There is a Security Form included in the registration packet. You will receive your child's security wristband on Monday evening, after your completed Security Form has been reviewed. Additionally, all adult volunteers will be background checked.
What should my child wear?
Children should come dressed in comfortable play clothes, tennis shoes or strapped sandals. They will participate in various "artistic explorations" and could get their clothes dirty (paint, glue, dirt, etc.). Campers should not wear nice jewelry, watches, etc. It is encouraged that electronic devices be left at home.
Who will be with the campers?
A leadership team of Grace Church adults and teens will be supervising each group of children (the groups will be formed by age). All adult volunteers have been background checked.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to arrange for the children to be dropped off at the church building by 5:45p and picked up at 8:30p.
